This painting was inspired by watching the progress of a Robin's nest on top of our front porch light.
Meet Fred.
Mama had to give him a nudge to encourage him to leave.
This baby robin was not happy about leaving the nest.
I tried to capture that moment when he found out he'd have to catch his own worms.
Hopefully he makes you smile.
