The inspiration for this painting was my experimental bulb garden.
I thought I would plant this once and more beautiful red tulips would arrive every year.
It only came up one year and I learned I would need to plant a new bulb each fall.
So, while the flower was lovely and fleeting, the painting lasts forever so you can enjoy the beauty of this red tulip, no matter what time of year.
Tulips are a symbol of love, happiness, joy, and good luck.
