A burst of energy and anticipation comes from the first spring leaves on the trees.
They ignite the excitement of life bursting and emerging from the hibernation of winter.
When you look closely at a leaf, you see the intricate veins which provide the very life giving water and nutrients to the plant. Just like our own veins bringing necessary life giving blood to our bodies.
As you look closely at this painting, I added fun bits of color and texture to highlight the patterns of the veins.
