What Einstein did or did not say about time

It’s that time of the year.  I usually dread the year end process for taxes.  Ugh.

I made a checklist and tweaked it over the years to make it easier.  So, really, it doesn’t even take that long. It is my dread of it that makes it last.

So, why in the world do I bring this up?  It reminds me of expanding time.

Remember this saying?

“When you sit with a nice girl for two hours you think it’s only a minute, but when you sit on a hot stove for a minute you think it’s two hours. That’s relativity.”

The quote is attributed to Einstein with some theories that he didn’t say it.  But, if he didn’t, he should have, so let’s just say he did.

Whenever you do something that expands your sense of time, it feels kind of luxurious, don’t you think?

Mindful drawing is an activity that expands time.

And it’s so much more enjoyable than doing your taxes or sitting on a hot stove.
