Nine years ago we moved just north of Boulder.
Just outside our neighborhood, there is a lot of open space, farms, and expansive, ever changing views of the mountains.
Meadows, cows, llamas, goats, and beautiful barns. Oh my.
Even though I grew up in L.A., I must be a country girl at heart.
I feel my breath slower and deeper.
My shoulders relax and I feel calm when I see waving stalks of corn bending in the breeze.
Every time I see the mountains, with the ever changing sky and light, I smile.
This place feels right. It feels like home.
