How to make things easier

How to make things easier

I was feeling overwhelmed and frustrated because there were so many things I wanted to do but found myself at the end of the day wondering what had just happened.

Do you relate to that?

I kept feeling like I wanted things to be easier.

One of the ways to help figure out things started by asking What does easy mean to me?

I wrote down words and phrases.

I journaled and just let the question be on my mind for a while.

The more I thought about it, the more answers came to me.

This is one of my favorite ways to figure out stuff.

If you keep asking the question you want answers to over and over, you will very likely come up with some answers and ahas.

I'd love to hear What does EASY mean to you?

  • Linda, Yes those are great ideas! I like batching things and feeling like I get a lot more done that way.

  • I think I would go for “simple”. Keeping it simple and not trying to complicate a day by taking on too many things. Also important to group similar actions for a day—like today I’m going to be domestic and do some housekeeping. Tomorrow I will do some gardening tasks. Next day do some shopping or errands.
