I’m taking some classes in botanical illustration at the Denver Botanic Gardens.  The class I am taking now is Color Pencil drawing.

This is a homework assignment of drawing the front side of the leaf on one half and the back side on the other.

I love the look of botanical drawings and thought this would be a good way to get back into drawing on a regular basis and improve my skills.

The commitment of a class helps me to keep practicing!

I plan to incorporate some drawings into my jewelry in the near future.
